Medicine Pods was founded in 2024.

Dr. Alison Lai
Dr. Alison Lai is the creator and executive producer of The Intern at Work. She works as a general internist and clinician-teacher at Toronto Western Hospital and is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Laiya Carayannopoulos
Dr. Laiya Carayannopoulos is an executive producer of The Intern at Work podcast. She is an Intensivist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and Brantford Community Health System, and currently completing her Master’s in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University.
Dr. Zahra Merali
Dr. Zahra Merali is executive producer of The Intern at Work. She is a general internist and Clinician Teacher at Sunnybrook Hospital, and is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Mike Fralick
Dr. Mike Fralick is co-director of the Rounds Table and creator of Trial Files. He is a Clinician Scientist at Sinai Health and UHN and locum general internist at the Sault Area Hospital.
Dr. Justin Boyle
Dr. Justin Boyle is a GIM subspecialty resident at the University of Toronto, an aspiring clinician-educator with experience in medical education research and curriculum development, and the Podcast Manager of the RT Podcast since 2021.
Dr. John Fralick
Dr. John Fralick is co-director for The Rounds Table. He works as a general internal medicine specialist at the Foothills Medical Centre and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary.
